Harideep Transport

Harideep Transport is located at H. No 2-10-823/5 in Subedari. We are right opposite the Forest Office, which is an easy landmark for the drivers. Transport is a messy business. There’s always a truck that’s late or a driver who didn't show up on time. We deal with a lot of paperwork and phone calls throughout the day. The office isn't anything special—just a couple of desks, a few chairs, and a lot of logbooks. We spend half the day on the phone trying to figure out where the loads are. Being in Subedari is okay, though parking can be a real pain when the bigger vehicles come through. We don't have a big fleet of brand-new trucks; we use what we have and keep them running as well as we can. Some days everything goes smooth, and other days it feels like every tire is flat and every engine is smoking. We just handle it as it comes. We’ve been doing this long enough to know that you can’t plan for everything in the transport world. We’re just local people trying to move goods from one place to another without too much trouble. It’s a lot of long hours and late-night calls, but that’s the life we chose. The Forest Office across the street has some big trees that give us shade in the afternoon, which is nice. We often sit outside and talk to the drivers while they're waiting for their papers.
