Gagana Excavators

We’ve been running Gagana Excavators out of our place at H. No. 5-9-27 in Lashkarbazar for quite some time now. It’s mostly just us and the machines, which we park right there in the yard when they aren't out on a job site. Hanamkonda is a busy area these days, so there’s always something that needs digging or clearing. We started out just helping a few neighbors with small backyard projects, but then word got around. It isn't a big operation with a lobby or a secretary. Usually, you’ll just find one of us greasing the joints or checking the oil on the backhoe before heading out for the morning. The ground around here can be pretty stubborn, especially when it hasn't rained in a while, but we’ve learned the tricks of the trade over the years. My cousin helps out with the driving and moving the trailers when things get really backed up. We don't spend much time on fancy talk; we just focus on getting the bucket into the dirt. Most days are long and hot, and the dust gets everywhere, but that’s just the life of an operator. If you walk by Lashkarbazar, you’ll probably see the yellow equipment sitting out. We keep it simple. If a job needs doing, we take a look and see if the machine can handle it. It's been a steady way to make a living, and we know most of the people on this street by their first names anyway. We just keep the engines running.
