Balaji Lamination

Balaji Lamination is over at H. No -4-9-74/1 in the C. P Reddy Complex at the Chowrasta. It is a busy corner, and there is always something going on outside. Our shop is where people bring their important papers, cards, and whatever else they want to keep safe from the weather or wear and tear. Lamination sounds simple, but when you are doing it all day, you realize there is a bit of a trick to getting it right without any bubbles or creases. The machines we use stay hot most of the day, so the shop has that specific plastic smell. We have a lot of regular customers, students from nearby or people from the local offices who need things done quickly. The complex itself is okay, a bit old, but it works for us. We have a small counter where we take the orders and a back area where the work happens. It's often just one or two of us working here. Sometimes we get a huge stack of things to do at once and the machines just hum along for hours. We don't really do much else besides this, but we've gotten pretty good at it over the years. It is a small local business life, and being at the Chowrasta means we see a lot of different people every day. It's never really boring here with all the noise from the street coming in.
