Amaron Batteries

Our shop is over in Madikonda, which is part of the area here in Andhra Pradesh. It’s a simple house-based setup at H.No Madikonda, so it’s easy to find if you’re from the village. Since we deal with batteries, the place is often filled with heavy crates and the smell of lead and plastic. It’s not the cleanest job in the world, and our hands are usually a bit dirty by the end of the day. We have stacks of batteries waiting to be charged or picked up by customers who come in from the nearby farms and towns. The floor is concrete and can get pretty cold in the winter, but mostly it’s just hot. We have a small bench outside where customers can sit while we check their equipment. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting things and moving them around, so we don’t really need a gym. The neighbors are used to the sound of us moving stuff around and the occasional truck dropping off a new shipment. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights, just a couple of sturdy tables and our tools. Most days are spent talking to people about their vehicles or their power backups at home. It’s a basic business that keeps the lights on for us and helps out the local folks when their batteries die. It is just honest work that keeps us busy from morning until night.
