Akshaya Photo Studio

Akshaya Photo Studio is our little shop in Hanamkonda. We’re in Revenue Colony, Subedari, right at house number 1-7-380. It’s a pretty busy area, so we see a lot of people passing by. We do passport photos, family pictures, and sometimes people ask us to cover events like weddings or birthdays. The studio isn’t huge, but we have a few backgrounds and some lights set up. Most of the time, it’s just me and a helper here. We’ve been taking photos for years, and we’ve seen the technology change from film to digital. It’s a bit different now, but the idea is the same. We try to make people look decent when they come in for a photo. Sometimes kids cry or people are stiff, and we just try to get them to relax a bit. It’s a nice way to meet the neighbors. We have a lot of regular customers from the colony who’ve been coming to us since they were young. It’s a steady job. We aren't looking to be world-famous photographers; we just take the pictures people ask for and give them the prints. Our walls are covered with old photos we've taken over the years.
