Super Max (Blade Manfacturing Company)

Our factory is tucked away in the village of Bhareri, which is part of the Bhoraj tehsil in Hamirpur. It is a quiet corner of Himachal Pradesh, and we like it that way. We spend our days making blades, and the sound of the machines has become a background noise we barely notice anymore. It is not like the big, crowded industrial cities; the air is much fresher here even if the work is just as busy. Most of the people working on the line are local folks from the nearby villages. We have all lived in this district for most of our lives. Keeping an eye on the steel quality is the main part of the job because the edges have to be just right. Sometimes the mountain roads make it hard for the transport trucks to reach us, especially when the winter weather gets bad or the rain is heavy. We just handle it as it comes. There is a small office space for the books, but we are usually out on the floor checking the machines and the oil levels. We do not do much talking about ourselves. If the blades are sharp and hold up well, then we have done our job right. We start early, have our tea together, and head home once the day's quota is finished. It is a decent way to make a living in the hills.
