Star Sales Company

Star Sales Company is located right at the Main Chowk in Bhiar. We are basically right next to the Post Office, which is the easiest way to describe where we are to anyone visiting the Mehal Teh area. Being at the chowk means we are in the middle of all the local activity. We sell a bit of everything that the local folks might need, from small hardware items to household supplies. The shop is an older building and it is packed with shelves from floor to ceiling. It can be a little hard to navigate if you don’t know where things are, but we have a system that works for us. We spend a lot of our time talking to people who stop by while they are out doing their errands. Since we are near the post office, there is always a steady stream of people passing by our front door. We keep the shop open from early morning until late in the evening. We handle all the sales ourselves and keep our books by hand in large registers. It is not a high-tech operation, but it has served us and the community well for a long time. People know they can come to us for a fair price and a bit of a chat about what is happening in the village. We do not have any big signs or advertisements, just our reputation and our spot on the corner of the main square.
