Out here in Vill Jhatwar, things are a bit quieter than in the big cities. This is Lanco Infratech Ltd., part of the Lanco Group, and our post office is over in Dughli. Hamirpur is our district in Uttar Pradesh. The zip code is 177029. We aren't in some shiny glass building. It is more of a practical setup because of where we are located. There is a lot of open space around the village and it can get quite hot in the summer months. Most of us who work here are locals or have been in the area for a long time. We know the roads and the neighbors pretty well. We spend our mornings getting things organized and the afternoons are usually for finishing up whatever came in. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find corporate meetings every ten minutes. It’s more about sitting down and getting the tasks done. The village life is slow but we keep busy enough with the Lanco Group stuff. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow which makes things take longer than they should, but we manage. You won't find many fancy restaurants nearby, so we usually bring our lunch from home and eat together. It’s a simple routine and it works for us. We’ve been here for a bit and we don't plan on moving anywhere else soon. It’s just us doing our part in Hamirpur.
