Sood Iron Store

Sood Iron Store is located right on Ropar Road in Nalagarh. We are situated quite close to the State Bank of Patiala and Bharatgarh Road, so it is a spot that many people pass by every day. The store is filled with all kinds of iron products, from heavy rods to smaller fittings that people need for their houses or workshops. It is a bit of a heavy place to work, literally, because everything we sell is made of solid metal. You can hear the clanging of iron pieces being moved around from a distance away. The traffic on Ropar Road can be quite something, especially during the peak hours when everyone is heading to work or going home. We have been here for a while and have seen the area change a bit, but the iron business stays pretty much the same. It is a lot of lifting and counting and making sure the inventory is where it should be. We deal with a lot of local builders and people from the surrounding villages who need supplies for their gates or roofs. It is a straightforward way to make a living, and we enjoy being part of the Nalagarh community. Sometimes the shop feels a bit cramped when a big shipment comes in, but we sort it out eventually. It is just us here, doing our daily tasks and helping out the folks who stop by the store.
