Sarila Organic Farmer Producer Companylimited

Sarila Organic Farmer Producer Companylimited is our group. We are based in Hamirpur, specifically in the Haridaschhibauli area. You can find us through Brajendra Singh over in Sarila Rath. We are basically a group of people working with local farmers to handle organic produce. It isn’t anything fancy. We spend most of our time out in the fields or meeting with the other producers in the district. Hamirpur can be a tough place to work because of the heat, but we stay at it. Our office is a simple place where we keep our records and talk about the next steps for our crops. We focus on the organic side of things because it feels like the right way to go for the land here. We don’t have a marketing department or anything like that. It’s just us, the farmers, and the work that needs doing. Sometimes the roads out here aren’t great, but we get where we need to go. We’ve been part of this community for a long time, so everybody knows everyone else. It’s more like a big family than a company. We just try to help each other out and make sure the farming stays sustainable. It’s a lot of hard work and sometimes things don’t go as planned, but that’s just farming. We keep it simple and just do the work. The sun can be brutal in the afternoons, so we usually take a break then.
