Navshakti Nidhi Limited is located right near the Pani Ki Tanki in the Upraus Mohalla area of Maudaha. The water tank is a very easy landmark to find if you are new to this part of Hamirpur. Our office is just a regular space in the neighborhood, nothing too special to look at. We spend most of our time here talking to the locals who want to start a small savings account. It gets quite hot in this part of the country during the summer, so we usually keep the door open for a bit of a breeze. Most of the people who come to see us are neighbors we have known for many years. We see shopkeepers from the market and families from the streets nearby every day. We handle all the ledger books and make sure every deposit is written down correctly. It is a lot of manual work, and we do not use any fancy machines or complicated software. Being in Maudaha means we see the same faces all the time, which makes the work feel more like a community thing. We are not some distant company based in a far-off city. We are right here where the water tank is. If someone has a question about their money, they just walk over and ask us. It is a very simple and honest way of doing things. We keep the office tidy and try to help everyone who walks through the door.
