Mohni Mineral

Mohni Mineral is located in Village Gauharari, which is out near Post Panwari and the Mahoba Junction. Being so close to the junction means we hear the trains coming and going at all hours of the day and night. The village is a quiet place otherwise but our work with minerals keeps things moving around here. We deal with a lot of raw materials that come from the local area. The sun gets really intense in this part of the country and the ground stays dry and dusty for most of the year. We spend our time bagging materials or checking the weights of what we have stored in the sheds. It’s a very rural setting and most of the people who work here live just a short walk away. We have to keep an eye on the weather because heavy rain can make the roads around Gauharari difficult for the trucks to navigate. When it’s dry, we are busy loading up trailers and talking to the drivers who come in from the junction area. It’s hard work that involves a lot of lifting and staying on your feet in the heat. We don't have any big offices, just the workspace and the land around us where we keep the minerals. It’s just how things are done here in our corner of Mahoba. We keep things simple and focus on the daily chores that need doing.
