Mathru Shree Clinic

We’ve been here on Katra Road for a while now. Most days start early before the sun gets too high and the road gets really noisy with all the traffic passing through Katra. It’s just a small shop where we try to help whoever walks in the door. You can find us pretty easily if you know the area. The walls are painted a simple color and we have some chairs for people to sit while they wait their turn. Sometimes the fans are loud, but they keep the air moving when it's stuffy outside. We see all sorts of folks from the neighborhood and people just passing by on their way somewhere else. We spend a lot of time cleaning up and making sure everything is where it belongs so we don't have to hunt for things when it gets busy in the afternoons. It isn't a fancy place with bright lights or anything like that. It's just a regular clinic where we do our work. People usually come in with their kids or their parents, and we listen to what’s bothering them. Sometimes we talk about the weather or how the road is getting more crowded every year. We like being part of this street and knowing the faces of the people who live nearby. It’s a quiet life for the most part, just taking things one day at a time here at the shop on Katra Road. We've got our routine down and we just keep at it.
