Kidzee

Our Kidzee center is right there on Mandakini Talkies Road, over in the Purani Bazar area of Karwi. It’s a lively neighborhood, especially being so close to the old market. If you know the Dwarika Puri area, you probably pass us quite often. We’ve been running this school for the little kids here in Chitrakoot for a while now. It’s a preschool, so you can imagine it gets pretty noisy during the morning hours. We have different rooms for the different age groups, all filled with toys and colorful drawings the kids made themselves. The staff here are mostly local women who know the families around here. We aren't doing anything groundbreaking, just following the usual Kidzee way of teaching through play and activities. The building is right on the road, so it’s easy for parents to drop their kids off on their way to work or the market. We have a small outdoor space where they can run around when the weather isn’t too hot. Sometimes the dust from the road is a bit much, but we keep the place tidy. We don’t spend much time on fancy advertisements. Usually, people just see the bright sign outside and come in to ask questions. It’s a practical setup for the families in Karwi who want a safe place for their kids to start learning. We just try to keep things organized and make sure everyone gets home safely at the end of the day. It’s a lot of responsibility but we enjoy the kids' energy.
