You can find Kashmiri Food Product at number 5, Jhamber. We are on the Hamirpur Road in Ajnoli, right near the Shiv Shankar Temple. The temple is a good landmark because everyone in the village knows it. Our building is small and we’ve been here for several years now. We make various food items that are common in this region. It’s a family-run business and we don't have many employees besides ourselves. Usually, it's just a few of us in the back doing the cooking and packing while one person handles the customers who stop by. The Hamirpur Road gets very busy during the festival times and we see a lot of foot traffic then, which is good for us. We don't have a big marketing budget or glossy brochures. We just rely on the fact that our food tastes like it should. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit to get back to work but that's just life in Ajnoli. We try to keep the place looking decent but it's a working kitchen so it's never perfect. We know our neighbors and we help each other out when needed. It is a simple way to make a living for a family. We aren't trying to be a national brand. We just want to keep the local people happy with what we put in the bags for them and keep things running smoothly as much as possible.
