The Bundelkhand Health Care Foundation is over at 1629/1 in Pichore. That’s in Jhansi, right here in Uttar Pradesh. Our office is a simple place where we spend most of our time. Being in Pichore means we are right in the thick of the local community. It’s not a polished corporate headquarters. It’s more of a place where people can just walk in and talk to us. We’ve been at this address for a bit, and the 284001 area is very familiar to us now. Jhansi is a place with a lot of history, and we feel like we are just another small part of its present. The work we do keeps us busy, often late into the evening. Our team is small, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything. You might find the person answering the phone is also the one cleaning the front step. We don't mind that. It keeps us humble. The building itself is older, but it serves its purpose. We have a few rooms filled with files and some old chairs for guests. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of the road outside, but that’s just life here. We don't make a big fuss about things. We just show up every morning and see what needs to be done. It’s a local operation through and through. We know the neighbors and the shops nearby. It’s home, and we keep it that way.
