We are located right on Hamirpur Road in the Amb area of Una. If you are coming through this part of Himachal Pradesh, you have probably passed our place a few times. We have a couple of cars that we use for the lessons, and they aren't brand new, but they work just fine for someone who is just learning how to use a clutch. Teaching people how to drive in Amb can be interesting because the roads get busy and you have to watch out for all sorts of traffic. Most of the people who come to us are a bit nervous at first, which is normal. We just sit in the passenger seat, keep our foot near the extra brake, and tell them when to shift gears. It is repetitive work, honestly. We go over the same turns and the same parking spots every day until the student gets it right. There is no magic to it, just spending hours on the road until they feel ready for the test. The office is small and mostly holds the paperwork for the licenses and the schedules for the week. We try to be flexible with the timing because people have jobs and other things to do. Sometimes the rain makes the Hamirpur Road a bit tricky, but that’s actually good practice for the learners. We just keep at it, one lesson at a time, until another person knows how to handle a car safely.
