You will find Akona Engineering Private Limited out on the Delhi-Merrut Road, at Hycon House, A-455. We are located right behind the Hindon Motels in the Hindon Vihar area. It is a bit of a trek to get out here, but having the extra space allows us to handle some of the bigger engineering tasks that wouldn't fit in a city shop. The building we are in isn't new, but it is sturdy enough for our machines and the crew. Most of our hours are spent looking at technical drawings or managing the manufacturing side of things. It can get pretty loud in the workshop when all the machines are running at once, so we have to talk loudly to hear each other. We don't have a dedicated sales team or anyone like that. Usually, if the phone rings, it is a customer we have worked with for years asking about a delivery date or a specific technical detail. We have been in Hindon Vihar for a while now and have seen more buildings go up around us. The Delhi-Merrut Road is always crowded with trucks, which is good for our shipping but makes getting to work a bit of a chore some days. We focus on the practical side of the job. There aren't many luxuries in our office, just a basic kitchen and plenty of room to work on projects. We just keep our heads down.
