Our small business is set up in Village Dashmal, which is part of the Bhoranj area in Hamirpur. We work on bio products, mostly focusing on things that help with local farming. It might sound like a big company because of the name, but it’s really just a few of us working out of a local building. We spend most of our time out in the fields or in our small workroom. We try to figure out better ways to deal with the soil and the crops around here. The road to Dashmal can be a bit bumpy, so we don't get a lot of random visitors. Most people who come by are local farmers who want to see what we are working on. We don't have any fancy lab equipment or white coats. It’s more of a place where we try things out and see if they actually work in the dirt. My cousin handles the paperwork and I do most of the field testing. We’ve been at this for a few years now. It’s slow work and we don’t make a lot of noise about it. We just believe in doing things properly and helping out where we can. It’s an honest way to make a living in the village. We like the quiet life here and the work keeps us pretty busy most of the time. It is a good way to spend our days.
