Out on the Halol Godhra Road, near the Rinki Oil Industries, you’ll find Shyam Sandeep & Co. Being out here on the road means we see a lot of long-distance trucks and travelers passing through. It’s a bit of a different feel than being in the middle of a crowded city market. There’s a bit more space, but it’s still a busy industrial area. We spend most of our time managing our stock and dealing with the logistics of getting things moved. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls, mixed with being out in the warehouse. We aren't big on formalities here. Most of us just wear what’s comfortable for working in a place that gets a bit dusty. We’ve been operating near Rinki Oil for a long time, so we’re well-known to the other businesses along this stretch of the road. We don't have a polished corporate image. We’re just a group of people working together to keep the business running. Sometimes things go wrong, like a delivery being late or the weather making things difficult, but we just deal with it as it comes. It’s an honest way to spend the day. We don't make big promises; we just do our best to handle the work that comes our way and keep our regulars satisfied. It’s a quiet, steady life out here on the highway.
