You’ll find Shyam Industries Ltd. at Plot 502/2 in the GIDC Industrial Area near Vadodara. We are quite close to Panorama Chokdi, which is a busy intersection that everyone in this part of town knows. Being in a GIDC area means we are surrounded by all kinds of factories and warehouses. There is always a smell of chemicals or exhaust in the air, and the sound of distant sirens or machinery is just part of the background noise. Our building is a standard industrial shed, nothing too special to look at. Inside, we have our production lines and a small corner for the office staff. Most of our work is about making sure the machines are running smoothly and the shipments go out on time. The roads around here can get pretty bad when it rains, so we spend a lot of time talking about how to get the trucks through the mud. We aren't the type of company that has a fancy mission statement on the wall. We just show up, do our jobs, and try to make things work. Most of the people here have been with us for years, so we’ve seen the area grow and change around us. It’s a busy, dusty, and honest place to work. We take our breaks together and talk about the local news or the cricket scores. It’s just how things are done here at the edge of the city.
