Mahadev Building Materials is out in Godhra, specifically along the Ankleshwar Mahadev Road. It’s a pretty simple operation we have going on here. We mostly deal with the basics that anyone would need to build a wall or a small house. You’ll see the stacks of materials as you drive down the road. It’s not a polished store with air conditioning; it’s more of an open yard where things are stored out in the air. We spend a lot of time outside, moving stuff around and talking to the drivers who come to pick up loads. The road out front gets a fair amount of traffic, so we see a lot of people passing by every day. We don't have any big mission statements or complicated ways of doing business. You come in, tell us what you need, we check if we have it, and then we figure out how to get it to your site. The sun can be pretty brutal out here on Ankleshwar Mahadev Road, so we usually have some shade where we sit during the quiet hours. We know the local area well and have seen a lot of houses go up using the materials from our yard. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and getting our hands dirty, but it feels good to be part of the local building scene. We just keep things honest and work with what we have.
