Tirupati Plastics is located at Plot No. 1027. If you walk in, you’ll smell plastic right away. It’s just how it is here. We have machines that mold and shape things all day long. There’s a lot of scrap that we try to keep in bins so it doesn't get underfoot. The floor is usually covered in those little plastic pellets. They are slippery, so we have to be careful. We aren't a big corporation with lots of rules and meetings. We just get the orders and start the machines. Sometimes a mold gets stuck and we have to spend an hour fixing it with a screwdriver and some patience. It’s just a regular factory floor. We have a small room in the front where we keep the samples, but it’s mostly used for storing coats and lunch boxes. We don’t have fancy brochures. If you want to see what we make, you just look at the crates waiting to go out. The guys working here have been around for years. We know the machines by their sounds. If something sounds off, we know it needs oil. It’s a practical way of working. Plot No. 1027 is where we make our living. It’s simple, honest work with plastic every day.
