We are located at Plot No. 206-2, 3. Shilpa Polypack Pvt. Ltd. is basically a place where we make packaging materials. We have two plots side by side which gives us enough room for the machines and the storage for the finished goods. It’s usually pretty noisy inside because the poly-wrap machines run almost all day long. We try to keep the floors clean but with all the scrap plastic, it’s a constant battle. The staff here is mostly local folks who live within a few kilometers. We don't have a big fancy lobby for guests. Usually, if someone comes by, they just walk through the side gate and find one of us on the floor. It gets pretty warm in the summer months because of the heat from the extruders. We have some big fans but they mostly just move the warm air around. We produce a lot of bags and rolls that other companies use for their shipping. It's a straightforward business. We don't spend money on fancy websites or big signs. Most of our customers have been with us for a long time. We just focus on keeping the rolls spinning and making sure the plastic is the right thickness. It’s hard work, but it pays the bills and keeps everyone busy. We don't need things to be complicated. We just want to produce what's needed and keep the business running like it always has.
