Shalimar Plastic Industries

Shalimar Plastic Industries is situated at Plot No. 1812. We have been operating from this location for quite some time. The building isn't anything special to look at, but it works for what we do with plastics. Every day is pretty much the same routine. We get the machines warmed up and start the production runs. There are stacks of materials everywhere and the smell of warm plastic is something you just get used to after a week or so. Our plot is a bit tucked away, but we like it that way because it gives us room to move the trucks in and out without too much trouble. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of people. It’s just a handful of us making sure the quality is okay and the machines don't break down. Sometimes things go wrong and we have to spend the afternoon fixing a motor or clearing a jam, but that's just part of the job. We don't have a website that we update or a marketing team. We just answer the phone and talk to people who need plastic goods. It’s a practical business. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years as more plots got built up. It’s a lot busier now than it used to be. We just keep our heads down, do the work, and try to finish on time.
