Our workshop for Rangoli Poly Pack Pvt. Ltd. is at Plot No. 910. It’s a basic industrial unit where we spend our days dealing with plastic and packaging materials. The smell of the raw materials is something you just get used to after the first week. We have a couple of extruders and some cutting machines that take up most of the floor space. It’s often a bit messy with scraps of film and offcuts lying around, but we try to do a big clean-up every Saturday. The lighting inside isn't the best, so we added some extra lamps over the inspection tables. We aren't a huge company with hundreds of employees. It's just a handful of us making sure the rolls are packed tight and labeled correctly. Sometimes the delivery truck is late and we end up sitting on the loading dock just chatting and waiting. Plot No. 910 isn't hard to find, but the sign is a bit faded from the sun. We don't really mind. The people who need to find us usually know the way. We focus on getting the daily production numbers met without too many hitches. If a machine goes down, the whole day feels a bit off, but we usually get it back up and running pretty quick. It’s just honest work in a busy shed. We've been doing this for years and it suits us just fine.
