Raj Plastic Industries

Raj Plastic Industries operates out of Plot No. C-1-1935. If you come near our plot, you can usually smell the plastic being processed. It’s a very distinct scent that stays with you. We have several injection molding machines that take up most of the floor space. They’re loud and they put off a lot of heat, so it gets pretty warm in here. We started with just one small machine years ago and slowly added more as we got more work. It’s a family-run business, so you’ll usually find my nephew or my brother-in-law helping out with the packing and the loading. We don't have a marketing department or any corporate branding. We just focus on making sure the molds are clean and the plastic comes out right. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend the whole night fixing it to stay on schedule. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we know. We have bins full of different colored parts waiting to be shipped out. We don't have a fancy lobby for guests; we usually just talk to people right there on the shop floor. It’s a bit messy and chaotic at times, but we have our own system that works. We’re just a bunch of people working hard to make a living in the industrial area.
