Paracoat Products Ltd.

We have been here at Plot No. 1006 for quite some time now. Most days it is just a lot of work getting the coating right and making sure the inventory is where it should be. The building is a bit older, and the roof leaks a tiny bit when it rains really hard, but we get by. People know us as the Paracoat team. We don't really do big fancy meetings. Mostly we just stand around the shop floor and talk about what needs to be finished before the sun goes down. The machines make a lot of noise, so we have to shout sometimes to be heard over the hum. It gets dusty in the afternoons. Sometimes the tea guy comes by late, which is a bit of a nuisance when you really need a break. We handle a lot of different products here. It is just steady work. Not everything goes perfectly every day, but we fix the mistakes and keep moving. Most of the staff live nearby, so they walk or take the bus to get here. It is just a regular workplace where everyone knows each other’s names and whose turn it is to bring snacks. We don’t spend much time on the computer unless we have to log an order. It’s mostly about the physical stuff we do with our hands at this plot. There are crates stacked in the corner that have been there for months, and we really should move them, but we never get around to it. It stays busy enough.
