About Jajoo Architectural Glass – Building & Construction Material in Halol
Operating out of Plot No. 1310, we spend most of our time dealing with heavy sheets of glass. It’s the kind of work where you have to be careful every single second or something is going to break. We handle architectural glass, which basically means the big stuff you see on buildings or inside fancy offices. We don’t have a big storefront because our work is mostly done on the cutting tables and in the tempering area. The warehouse is a bit cold in the winter, but it’s better than the humid heat we get other times of the year. We’ve got cranes and suction cups to move the glass around because those sheets are way too heavy for just a couple of guys to lift. Sometimes the edges are sharp and the glass is heavy, so we keep the safety gear on. It’s not a glamorous job. There’s a lot of noise from the cutting wheels and the water sprayers we use to keep the glass cool. We just focus on getting the dimensions right. If a piece is off by a few millimeters, it won’t fit the frame, and then the whole day’s work is wasted. We’ve been at Plot 1310 for a good stretch now, and the neighbors know us by the sound of the trucks loading up the crates. It’s just honest work with sand and heat turned into something clear that people can use for their houses.
