Dimple Bags Synthetics Pvt. Ltd. operates out of Plot No. 814. The first thing you notice when you walk in is the smell of the synthetic materials we use for the bags. It’s a strong scent but you stop noticing it after ten minutes. We have rows of workstations where the sewing and cutting happens. There are always scraps of fabric on the floor by the end of the shift. We try to sweep up every evening before we head out. The lighting inside is bright so everyone can see what they’re doing with the needles and threads. It’s a focused environment, mostly just the sound of the machines clicking away. We have a small area near the back where we keep the finished bags boxed up and ready to go. The plot isn't huge, so we have to be smart about how we stack the rolls of material. Sometimes a shipment comes in and we have to shuffle everything around to make it fit. We’ve had some of the same machines since we opened, and they still work just fine with a little oil now and then. Everyone knows their job and we don't need much supervision to get through the day's list. It’s a honest day's work here at 814 and we're used to the pace of the factory life.
