About Dada Polymers – Agriculture & Farming in Halol
Over at Plot No. 503/D/3, you’ll find Dada Polymers. It’s not a very large plot, so we have to be quite clever about how we stack the raw materials and the finished goods. The machines take up most of the floor space, leaving just enough room for us to walk between them. It gets pretty hot near the heaters, so we always have the side door open for a bit of air. There’s usually a thin layer of dust on everything, but that’s common when you’re working with polymers. We don't have a fancy sign outside, just the plot number and the name painted on the wall. The work is steady, mostly filling orders for small parts that other companies need. My nephew helps with the paperwork in the evenings because my handwriting isn't very good. We have a small kettle in the corner for making tea, which is where we spend most of our breaks. It’s a bit cramped when we have a lot of stock, but we make it work somehow. Most of our customers are from the same area, so they just drop by whenever they need something. We don't really do much in the way of sales talk; we just show them what we’ve got and they take it. It’s a modest operation, but it keeps us busy and we like the independence of running our own little shop without anyone bothering us too much.
