Shakun Plastic Pvt. Ltd. is based at Plot No. 1801 in the GIDC Estate in Halol. It’s a big estate and it can be easy to get lost if you don’t have the plot number handy. We’ve been operating out of this facility for quite some time now. The building is a standard industrial shed like most others in this part of Halol. We have high ceilings and plenty of floor space for our operations. Most of our staff lives nearby, so they walk or take bikes to get here every morning. It's a steady environment. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive furniture. The focus is always on what's happening on the production floor. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but that's just part of working in an industrial zone. We have our own ways of dealing with the heat in the summer. It’s mostly just hard work and making sure the orders are ready on time. We don't have a big sales team or anything like that. People who know us just call the landline or stop by the gate. The area around Plot 1801 is usually full of trucks and delivery vans. It can get pretty hectic around mid-day. We just take it as it comes and try to stay productive. It’s an honest way to make a living and we’re glad to be part of the Halol community.
