Safari Industries (india) Ltd. has a large facility at Plot No. 1701/2200 in the Gidc Estate in Halol. This is a big place, much larger than the small workshops you see nearby. Because of the size, we have a lot of people coming and going at all hours. There are different shifts, so the gate is almost always open. Inside, it’s a lot of production lines and stacks of materials waiting to be turned into products. The Halol heat can be pretty tough, especially in the middle of the day, but the factory is designed to keep things moving regardless of the weather. We have a lot of local workers who come in from the surrounding villages on cycles or buses every morning. It is a very busy environment, with a lot of noise from the conveyor belts and the packing area. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or office comforts. Everything here is about utility. We have a cafeteria where everyone sits together for lunch, which is probably the quietest time of the day. Even though it's a big operation, it still feels like a local workplace because so many of us have been here for years. We just focus on getting the daily production numbers met without any fuss. It's a lot of repetitive work, but we take it seriously. Plot 1701/2200 is a landmark in this part of the estate.
