If you head over to Plot No. 81 in Narpura, Baska, near Halol, you will find Nirbhay / Radhadaya Knitting Industries Pvt. Ltd. We are a textile company that focuses on knitting fabric. The building is usually filled with the loud, rhythmic clicking of the knitting machines, which is a sound we have all grown very used to over the years. We spend our days watching the threads and making sure the patterns are coming out right. It’s a lot of standing and moving around the floor to check on the different looms. Our team is mostly folks from the local area who know a thing or two about cloth. We aren't trying to be some huge international corporation; we are just a local industry doing our part in the textile chain. The warehouse area is often a bit of a mess with scraps of yarn and big rolls of finished fabric waiting to be picked up. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby; you usually just walk in and find someone on the production floor. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine needs a part we have to wait for, but we just deal with those things as they come.
