Rajashekar Traders

Rajashekar Traders is over at 507 in Halingali, which is part of Bagalkot. We’ve been set up here for several years now. It’s a basic trading business. We buy things, we sell things, and we try to keep the books balanced. The warehouse is a bit old, and the roof leaks a tiny bit when it pours, but we keep the stock covered. It’s mostly locals who stop in. We have some regular customers from around Bagalkot who have been coming to us since we opened. We don't really do much advertising. Word of mouth usually brings people to our door. Dealing with suppliers takes up a lot of our time in the mornings. You have to be careful with the numbers. The street outside gets quite muddy during the monsoon season, making it hard for the bigger trucks to turn. We just manage with what we have. Sometimes the tea stall next door brings us over a few cups while we work. It’s not a corporate office with suits and ties. We wear work clothes and get our hands dirty. It’s a decent living and we like the people around Halingali. If you need something, you just come to 507 and ask. We’re usually there from early morning until the sun goes down. Most days it’s quiet, but when a new shipment arrives, things get moving quickly.
