Being right on Nainital Road means there is always traffic and people moving past our door. We are located near the Kotwali, so it’s a pretty easy spot for people to find when they are looking for us. If you look across the road, you’ll see the Hanuman Ji temple right there. Sometimes when the bells are ringing or there’s a crowd for the morning prayers, it gets quite loud inside our office, but we don’t really mind it. It’s part of the atmosphere here. At Bhawana Tours and Travel, we spend most of our time on the phones or looking at maps, trying to work out the routes for people who want to go somewhere. The desk is usually covered in papers and notebooks because we still like writing things down. It’s a small office, and sometimes it gets a bit cramped when more than two people are inside, but it works for what we need. We see a lot of different faces, from locals just needing a quick trip to people coming from further away. The road outside is always dusty, so we are constantly wiping down the windows, but it never stays clean for long. That’s just life on a main road near a temple. We keep our schedules taped to the wall and just try to stay organized as much as we can while the day goes by. We aren't fancy, just a group of people helping others get where they need to go.
