Thermax Limited (Wws)

This particular office is tucked away in the industrial heart of Haldia, over in the Medinipur district of West Bengal. We are located right within the TPCL and HMCPCL premises, which means it’s a very industrial environment. You can hear the hum of the plants and see the tall chimneys from our windows. Being C/O Thermax Limited (Wws), we deal mostly with the water and waste systems side of things. It’s a gritty place to work, but it’s where the real action happens. The humidity in Haldia can be quite something, especially in the summer months, and the office air conditioning works hard to keep us from melting. We spend a lot of our time coordinating with the engineers and site managers at the plant. It’s not a place for suits and ties; we usually wear practical clothes because we’re often out on the floor or checking on equipment. The desks are covered in technical drawings and site reports. We share the space with other departments, so it can get a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time. There’s always a kettle going for tea because the days can be long. We don't have a grand entrance, just a functional workspace that allows us to stay close to the actual projects. It’s a lot of hard work and constant communication to keep things running smoothly in such a large industrial complex. Our team just focuses on the daily tasks.
