The First Club

Our place is located in Dighasipur, right off the NH-41 highway. It’s easy to miss if you aren't looking for the Chakdwipa post office area. We’ve been operating The First Club here for a while, mostly catering to people from the surrounding villages and those traveling along the main road. It’s a simple building where people gather. We don't have any of those big city frills. Mostly it’s just about having a spot for folks to come to. The highway can get really loud with the trucks going by all night, but inside it's a bit quieter. We handle all the day-to-day stuff ourselves, from opening the doors in the morning to locking up late at night. There’s always something that needs fixing, like a leaky tap or a lightbulb that quit on us. That's just part of running a club in this area. We know most of the people who stop in by their first names. It’s a small community around Chakdwipa, and we like being a part of it. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing team. It’s just us at the NH-41 location. People usually hear about us through word of mouth. We keep things grounded and don't try to be something we're not. It’s just a local spot for local people. On rainy days, the road gets a bit muddy, but people still make their way over here to hang out and pass the time.
