You can find us down in Haldia at the HMCPCL project site. We are specifically in the Patikhali area, near Durgachak in West Bengal. Being an industrial port town, Haldia has a specific feel to it, and we are right in the middle of that. Our office is a site office, so it’s very practical and built for the job. There’s a lot of activity with trucks and industrial equipment nearby. We spend our days managing the specific project details for Tata Projects Limited at this location. It’s not a place for suits and ties; we wear safety gear and boots mostly. The air has that industrial scent, and the weather can be quite humid. We have a small team here focused on the HMCPCL site work. Our office is basically a few cabins or a small building near the site entrance. It gets pretty busy when deliveries arrive. We don’t have a fancy reception desk or anything. If you come by, you’ll just see people working on computers or out on the field. It’s a straightforward environment where we focus on the task. We’ve been here since the project started and we’ll be here until it’s done. It’s hard work, but we just get on with it. We share the space with a lot of heavy binders and technical drawings that are starting to curl at the edges from the moisture. There’s a small canteen nearby where we get some dal and rice for lunch.
