R. S. Export & Imports

Our office is in Basanti Bhawan over in Durgachack. It’s a decent place to work from. 1/32 is the room number. We’ve been here at R. S. Export & Imports for a while now. Durgachack is a place where you see a lot of things moving around. We spend our mornings checking the latest arrivals and see what needs to be shipped out next. It's not all that complicated, really. We just take care of the imports and exports that come across our desks. Some days are much busier than others. When the shipments come in, it gets a bit hectic. We have to make sure every document is in order. If something is missing, it’s a headache for everyone. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the desk gets buried in papers. Basanti Bhawan is a familiar building to us. We know the stairs and the way the light comes in during the afternoon. It’s not a corporate skyscraper. It’s just where we do our business. We aren't interested in making big claims about being the best. We just do the work. The fans hum in the background while we type out emails. Sometimes we step out for a quick bite at the local stalls nearby. Then it's back to the crates and the logistics. It's just a steady way of making a living here. We just focus on the task at hand.
