Our place is over in Basudebpur, Durgachak. We are in the Purba Midnapur district. A good way to find us is to look for the Manjushree Cinema Hall. We are right near there. You can often hear the music or the crowds when a big movie is playing. The area is pretty industrial but also has its own local rhythm. We started this business to handle international work from this corner of Bengal. It is a bit of a drive from the main city, but we like the pace here. The office is simple. We have a few computers and some old filing cabinets that have seen better days. The weather gets really humid, so we keep the windows open to catch any breeze coming through. Sometimes the rain hits so hard we have to shut everything up tight. We deal with a lot of paperwork and phone calls throughout the day. People in the neighborhood are friendly and we usually know who is passing by. We don't put on any acts here. It is just a regular group of people working together to make things move. We have our tea together in the afternoon and talk about what needs to be done before the sun goes down. It is a honest way to spend the day. Durgachak has its challenges like any other place, but we have made a home for our business here. The nearby market is good for grabbing a quick lunch, and there is always something going on. We have seen some of the kids who used to play in the street grow up and start working too. That’s how time goes by when you are rooted in a place. We don't have a big fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. If you walk in, you’ll likely find us at our desks or checking things in the back. We just try to be fair and get the job done right so we can go home feeling like we did a full day's work.
