We set up our shop in Naya Tola, right near Yadav Chowk and just a short walk from the Carnival Cinema. Being so close to the movie theater means there’s always a lot of energy and people around, especially on the weekends. We work with CCTV and security cameras, so our small shop is packed with boxes of cables, monitors, and different lenses. It can get a little crowded when we have a lot of new stock arrive. We spend most of our time out on sites installing things, so the shop is often left with just one of us to handle walk-ins. We don't have a fancy corporate office or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we test the equipment and talk to our customers. The traffic around Yadav Chowk is almost always heavy, so we’ve learned to be patient when we’re heading out for a job. We don't use a lot of technical jargon when we talk to people. We just show them how to see the video on their phone and where to plug things in. Most of our business comes from people in the neighborhood who have seen our sign while going to the cinema. We’ve been in Naya Tola for a while now and we like being part of the local scene. It’s a busy, noisy place but it feels right for us and the work we do.
