Sahadat Hardware Store

Sahadat Hardware Store is situated on University Road in Matijuri. We are quite close to Radiant Junior College, so we see a lot of students and staff passing by every day. Our shop is filled with all kinds of hardware supplies. We’ve got drawers full of different sized nails, rows of pipes, and buckets of paint stacked up. It’s a bit of a maze inside sometimes. If you’re looking for a specific tool or a replacement part for a sink, we probably have it tucked away somewhere on a shelf. We don't go in for fancy displays. Everything is kept where it fits. Most of our customers are locals who are doing some repairs on their own homes. We spend a good part of the day giving advice on which washers to use or how to fix a door that won't close right. We aren't experts, but we’ve seen enough hardware over the years to know what usually works. The road outside is always loud with rickshaws and cars, but inside we just focus on the task at hand. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to use torches to find things in the back, but we don't let that stop us. It’s a steady business and we enjoy being the place where people can find the small things they need to keep their houses in good shape. We just do our work and go home.
