Green Ahom Federation

Down in Hailakandi Town, you can find the Green Ahom Federation. We are located at House No. W/No-I/A. It’s right in the middle of town, so we see everything that happens around here. Being in Hailakandi means we are close to the people we serve. Our office isn't anything special to look at from the outside. It’s a regular house that we’ve turned into a workspace. We didn’t hire an interior designer or buy matching furniture. Everything we have is because it’s useful. We spend our days talking to locals and planning out our next steps. Sometimes we sit outside when the weather is nice just to get a break from the desks. The town can be a bit noisy with all the shops and traffic, but we like that energy. It keeps us reminded of why we started this federation in the first place. We don't have a corporate handbook or a list of fancy values. We just try to be honest and work hard. If someone comes in with a question, we do our best to answer it without using complicated terms. We are just a bunch of people from the area who wanted to have a place to organize. The floors might need a fresh coat of paint and the files are starting to overflow from the cabinets, but the work gets done. That’s what matters most to us at the end of the day when we close up.
