Banti Dutta & Co.

Our office for Banti Dutta & Co. is located in Joygachi, which is part of the Habra area in the North 24 Parganas district. It’s a busy place, mostly because there is always something going on in this part of town. We aren't a massive company with hundreds of employees. It is just a handful of us trying to keep things organized and moving forward. The building is simple, nothing that would stand out to a stranger passing by, but it works for what we need. We handle a lot of different tasks throughout the day. Sometimes it’s dealing with local authorities and other times it’s just helping out a neighbor who stopped by with a question. Living and working in Joygachi means you see the same faces every day, which we actually like. It makes the work feel more personal. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches. We just write down what needs doing and we do it. The local weather usually dictates how the day goes, especially during the monsoon when the roads get a bit tricky. We’ve had our ups and downs like any other small business, but we are still here. It’s a bit messy sometimes, with papers piled up on the desks, but we know where everything is. We just keep our heads down and get the job done without much fuss. It is how we manage.
