Start by mentioning the location at 18-A, Sugandha Palace. It’s right there on University Road. We see a lot of people from around Govindpuri Chouraha coming in with their pets. Dealing with animals is different every day, some days are quiet and others are just completely packed with dogs barking or cats hiding in their crates. We set up here in Gwalior because it felt like a good spot where people could actually find us without getting lost in the main city traffic. The building itself is okay, nothing too fancy, but it gets the job done for what we do. University Road can get pretty busy during the afternoons, especially with students and commuters passing by all the time. Being near the chouraha means there is always something going on outside our windows. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place clean and making sure everything is in the right cabinet. It isn’t always easy work, especially when you have a nervous animal that doesn’t want to be here, but that is just how it goes in this line of work. Most of the folks who come in are regulars from the local neighborhood, so we know their names and their pets' names too. Sometimes we just sit and talk about the weather or how the road construction is going. It is a simple life running a place like this in Govindpuri. We just stay focused on the day-to-day tasks and hope for the best.
