Vimal General Store

Vimal General Store is located over in Lohiya Bazar, which is a pretty busy part of Lashkar. Gwalior is full of these small markets and we are just one small part of it. We mostly sell things people use every day at home. You will find shampoos, detergents, and different kinds of snacks on our shelves. The shop is not very large, so we have to use every bit of space we have. Sometimes things get a little dusty because of all the construction and traffic in Lohiya Bazar, but we try to keep it clean. People come in with their lists written on small scraps of paper. We have lived in this area, 474001, for a long time so we know most of the families around here. It is nice when someone stops to chat about the weather or the price of vegetables while we pack their bags. We don't use any complicated systems, just a simple notebook for accounts and a steady hand for the scale. The afternoons can be a bit slow when the sun is high, so we might take a small break then. But by evening, the whole place wakes up again. It is just how things work at Vimal General Store. We keep it honest and just try to be useful to the folks living nearby. It is hard work but it is what we know and do.
