Tulsi Kirana Store

We are Tulsi Kirana Store. Our shop is located in Kailash Nagar on the New High Court Road in Gwalior. We are right in the City Centre area, specifically near Satyam Tower. It is a good location because there are always people moving about. We are a kirana store, which means we carry all the staples like spices, flour, lentils, and cooking oil. The 474011 area is quite active, especially with the court nearby. We started Tulsi Kirana Store quite a few years ago. The shop is filled with the smell of different spices and grains. We don't have those fancy shopping carts; people just tell us what they want and we get it for them. We keep everything in big jars or sacks. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the road for a bit when they bring our supplies, but the neighbors are used to it. We know most of the families around Kailash Nagar. They come to us because we are convenient and we’ve been here forever. We use a small diary to write down what we need to order for next week. It is a very basic way of doing things, but it works for us. We don't have a lot of staff, just family members helping out when it gets busy. We are just a local Gwalior shop trying to provide what the community needs. It is hard work, but we like being our own bosses here in the city.
