Swati Impex

Our office for Swati Impex is located right in Jayendra Ganj, directly in front of Martha Boarding at Singhal Bhavan. It is a busy part of town, so there is always something going on outside our windows. We have been working out of this space for a while, and it has a lot of character, even if the walls could use a fresh coat of paint one of these days. Inside, it is mostly desks, stacks of paperwork, and the sound of phones or keyboards. Since we deal with importing and exporting, we spend a huge chunk of our time just tracking shipments and talking to people on the other side of the screen. The Martha Boarding landmark helps people find us because Jayendra Ganj can get a bit confusing with all the different buildings. We don't have any fancy reception area or a coffee machine that makes lattes. Usually, we just send someone out to get chai in those small glass cups when we need a break. The afternoons can get a bit slow when the sun is high, but then the evening rush starts and the whole area wakes up again. We are just a small group of people trying to keep the orders moving and making sure the files are in the right place. It is not glamorous, but it is what we do every day. We know the neighbors, we know the postman, and we just keep at it as best we can.
