Soham Hospital

We’ve been here at Mayur Market for a long time now. If you look behind the petrol pump, that’s where you’ll find us at number 59 B. It’s usually pretty busy around here, especially in the mornings when everyone is getting their fuel and heading to work. Soham Hospital isn't some giant glass building like the ones you see in the movies. It’s just our place where we handle whatever comes through the door. Some days the lobby is full of people from all over Gwalior, and other days it’s a bit quieter, giving us a chance to catch up on paperwork or just sit for a minute. The staff here has been around for years, so we all know each other pretty well. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that because most people just know where we are. The market can get a bit noisy with all the shops and traffic, but inside we try to keep things moving as smoothly as possible. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the lane, which is a bit of a headache, but we manage. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, with new shops opening up and others closing down. It’s a lot of work running a hospital in a spot like this, but it’s what we do. We just focus on the patients and making sure everything is in order for the next shift coming in. It is a simple, practical life here behind the pump.
